Me, my girl, (maybe a few unpaid friends...F3) are going to put in the work to get through all orders! Packing them all by hand, with every single one getting that little secret I've been teasing tucked inside.

Smaller update this week, but a few important things to share.

Certificates of Authenticity Winner

Option #2 won! It wasn't even close lol.

I personally liked #1 better haha. BUT, that's exactly why I asked you instead of just picking. My taste is one vote. Yours are hundreds.

Someone with a sharp eyes buff did point out that Option #2 was missing the bandana pixel design that was on option 1. So I'm going to find a way to squeeze it in.

Bandana Samples Approved

The sample came back exactly how I wanted it, so the production run is officially approved! F2

Here's the honest timeline from the company. They've told me they currently have orders in the tens of thousands stacking up because summer event season is kicking off and huge corporate brands are scrambling to get their stuff printed. BUT they're slotting our run in between some of the bigger jobs to keep us moving.

We are about 2 weeks away!!

Shorter update than usual, but I'd rather send you a real one than pad it out with filler.

Week 2 update. A lot to cover, so let's get into it!

Certificates of Authenticity

The response to the idea last week was honestly overwhelming. Message after message saying "Yes" and I appreciate the kind words of those who see I am taking this project serious.

So it's locked in! Every order is now going to include one.

I'm not cheaping out on these either. No flimsy printer paper. I'm doing them on nicer cardstock so it actually feels like something worth keeping.

There are two design directions so far. I genuinely can't pick between them, so I'm leaving it to you. Just let me know through email (gabe@callmegabe.com) or on Discord (@gabe.gamer) with Option 1 or Option 2.

The majority wins.

Extended Window For Orders

My inbox and Discord have been crazy this past week...

So many Maplers just finding out about the bandanas now and asking if they can still get one. It didn't feel right to turn them away just because they are finding out about it for the first time, and there is technically still time left for them to loot one.

So I decided to extend the window and ordered more.

The fact that this many people want one of these is epic.

So what does that mean for the Certificates and numbering?

Since more orders means more numbers, I want to be upfront about how I plan for this all to work:

There will be a different certificate design for each tier of when you ordered.

First 100, first 250, first 500, and so on. So your design tells the story of how early you got in.

The number itself does NOT restart between tiers. If you were the 75th order, your card says 75/100. If you were the 157th, yours says 157/250. The count keeps climbing. So your tier just changes what the card looks like.

If you ordered more than one bandana, your numbers will be sequential. So you'd get something like 84, 85, 86 instead of three random numbers.

Clean, fair, and you can actually tell who got in early. Open to feedback if you have any on this.

I want to give a shoutout to Jessie who to date has bought the most amount of bandana's and left me a very generous tip! 🙏

He sent me this nice message "My family and I have always been a team (I have a big family LOL) and we've all been playing Maple since it's launch on Global! I saw your project and thought this was a great way to keep our family connected."

This is why I am doing this so all of us Maplers have something that can connect us in real life. It truly was amazing to read that.

Production Update

Next week I should see the first images of the bulk order I placed go into production and I will share that with you all.

We're about 2 or 3 weeks away from shipping everything out. The moment it arrives my whole calendar is blocked off to spend as much time as needed to get orders out as fast as possible!

Even if it means staying up all night...

I thought it would be good to keep everyone updated on the pre-order for the Mark of Beta Bandana 👀

Now getting into the update.

I have already placed the bulk order for all the bandana's. Super exciting!!

Order Status & Shipping

The bandanas are finalized in America, but the specific breathable cotton I picked is sourced from overseas. Transparently the war unknowingly to me impacted the supply chain according to them. Since I am not a super large corporation or using a huge company to make / print these the timeline got slightly pushed back a bit.

So orders will start shipping near the end of May.

I'm not going to spin it. I picked a more expensive, breathable, better-feeling cotton on purpose because I wanted this to be something you'd actually wear (and be able to grind long hours with lol), not just have for display.

The trade-off is it takes a little longer to get here. I'd rather wait and get it right than rush you something that feels cheap.
